So tonight he joins us on my internet webcast program for the entire hour with the details.

For two years Gannon reported on some of the most important news events from ‘behind enemy lines”. He’s got the inside details on stories from the invasion of Iraq through the 2004 election and the beginning of the second term of President George Bush.

AM I THE ONLY AMERICAN WHO THINKS THIS WAY? TONIGHT AT 9 ET with ANDREA

American politics – from both sides of the aisle — is saturated with deceit, half-truths and lies. Big corporations, for example, have influenced our elected officials and the way our government does business,” says tonight’s guest on my radio program. Jim Purcey asks “Is this for the ‘good’ of the American people? I think not.”

Purcey and I will look at the politics that are destroying our nation from within, such as:

• Immigration laws – since when did the idea of actually securing our borders become radical?
• Education – why exactly is our educational system so utterly pathetic?
• Lawyers, guns and money – the right to bear arms laid bare; what most of us don’t realize about this debate teeming with misconceptions
• Why corporations are allowed - even encouraged with tax advantages - to take their business abroad and put Americans out of work
• The outright absurdity of our dependency on foreign oil
• Why so many Americans live in fear of their own government: The IRS is a perfect example

Jim Purcey wants to know…Am I the Only American Who Thinks This Way?

We get underway at 9 p.m. ET. Join us — Just ring the doorbell below. We’ll have the Chat Room open for you!

Tonight @ 9 ET -Andrea & Kathleen Willey- the TARGET of the Clinton Machine

On tonight’s webcast, we’ll be talking to Kathleen Willey, the wife, mother and political activist who was working as a White House volunteer when, in 1993, President Clinton sexually assaulted her in the Oval Office. On the same day, her husband of 23 years committed suicide.

Four years later she was drawn into the Paula Jones sexual harassment lawsuit and subsequently, the Monica Lewinsky scandal, when she was forced to testify against Bill Clinton.

She was targeted by the Clintons for daring to tell the truth. Hillary Clinton’s machine terrorized Willey in attempts to intimidate her from testifying as a witness, and with Hillary’s mainstream media friends, conducted smear campaigns to discredit Willey’s reputation.

Now, fast forward to Labor Day Weekend 2007

In the dead of night during a hot Virginia summer, an unknown intruder silently hoisted himself through a downstairs window into a rural home. As the unsuspecting homeowner slept upstairs, the burglar carried out his mission. The next morning, Kathleen Willey awoke to find her jewelry untouched, her credit cards intact, and her electronics disturbed but not stolen. A copy of the manuscript of her upcoming book—a book containing damaging revelations about Bill and Hillary Clinton—had mysteriously disappeared. TARGET: Caught in the Crosshairs of Bill and Hillary Clinton.

For Willey, the manuscript theft was déjà vu. Ten years earlier, the former White House aide‘s life had been turned upside down by threats aimed at silencing her about the sexual assault she experienced at the hands of President Bill Clinton. The Clintons’ fears about Willey speaking publicly were heightened by what she knew of their shady political operations. Now, with Hillary Clinton in the midst of a campaign to return to the Oval Office—this time as president of the United States—Willey has decided to break the silence she maintained for ten years. And, as a result, Willey finds herself once again a target.

Kathleen Willey joins us tonight at 9 p.m. ET to talk about what The Couple Who Would Be President did to Willey and others.

TONIGHT AT 9 - “A CONVERSATION WITH ANDREA AND …

UPDATE AND GUEST CHANGE!

Joining us at 9:30 — Matt Margolis, co-author of “Caucus of Corruption: The Truth About the New Democratic Majority” has filed a complaint with the Fed. Elections Cmssn. alleging Hill is accepting illegal campaign contributions. Matt will replace Richard Collins of StopHerNow.com who is unable to be with us tonight.

Pam Meister will be with us for the entire hour.

Pam Meister, accomplished writer, fellow blogger and friend of The Radio Patriot recently attended a screening of “Hillary Uncensored”, the documentary chronicling the story of Peter Franklin Paul’s civil suit against Bill Clinton. Pam attended the screening October 30, at the Metropolitan Republican Club in New York City, and she will join us tonight with a full report about the devastating film in which, according to WND:

Paul claims President Clinton destroyed his entertainment company – Stan Lee Media – to get out of a $17 million deal in which he promised to promote the firm in exchange for stock, cash options and massive contributions to his wife’s 2000 campaign. Paul contends he was directed by the Clintons and Democratic Party leaders to foot the bill for a lavish Hollywood gala and fundraiser prior to the 2000 election that eventually cost him nearly $2 million.

Paul contends Sen. Clinton’s participation in soliciting performers and planning the event would make his more than $1.2 million in contributions a direct donation to her Senate campaign rather than to a joint fundraising committee, violating federal statutes that limit “hard money” contributions to a candidate to $2,000 per person. Knowingly accepting or soliciting $25,000 or more in a calendar year is a felony carrying a prison sentence of up to five years.

You can see the 13-minute trailer for the documentary here.

MILITARY BLOGGERS MAKE HISTORY

THE ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW PRESENTS…

“I looked at my schedule today, and I found it interesting that I would be sitting down with bloggers.” — President George W. Bush.

For the first time in history, a sitting President sat down with a group of military bloggers (probably ANY group of bloggers). There was no other media present and no press releases were given to announce the meeting before or afterwards.

THIS SUNDAY NIGHT AT 9 PM ET ON MY PROGRAM on WDBO Steve Schippert and CJ Grisham — two of ten military bloggers who were invited to the White House for a sit down meeting with the President — will tell us about their Great Adventure at the Oval Office.

“It is surreal to me that an Illinois farm kid finds himself - with absolutely no traditional pedigree beyond sweat, focus and self-study - seated in the Roosevelt Room with the President of the United States discussing the direction, progress and challenges as we see them in a conflict that history will reflect defines this generation.” — Steve Schippert (seated at President’s right, with his back to the camera), contributing blogger at ThreatsWatch.org and The Tank at National Review Online

Bill Roggio of the Long War Journal and Bill Ardolino of INDC Journal attended via video teleconference from Baghdad. Those seated in the Roosevelt Room adjacent to the Oval Office in the West Wing were The Armorer of Argghhh!, Matt Burden of Blackfive, Mrs. Greyhawk of Mudville Gazette (whose husband “Greyhawk” was attending to the nation’s business in Iraq), NZ Bear of the TTLB and the Victory Caucus , Steve Schippert of Threats Watch, Ward Carroll of Military.Com and Mohammed of Iraq the Model.

MILITARY BLOGGER CJ GRISHAM MEETS THE PRESIDENT

“I kept my eyes on the President almost the entire time. He made sure that he kept eye contact with us as he spoke. There wasn’t a person in that room who wasn’t included in his speech. President Bush spoke candidly to us. He didn’t speak at us and he didn’t speak down to us. He treated us like respectful Americans. When he spoke of his father’s WWII service, he literally teared up. Being right next to him, I caught a single tear attempt to roll down his left cheek before he casually wiped it away.” — CJ Grisham

IS THE HSU ON THE OTHER FOOT?

“All of this is very reminiscent of the 1996 Clinton fundraising scandal. A total of 120 witnesses either fled the country, pleaded the Fifth Amendment or otherwise were unavailable for questioning. In the end, a total of 14 people were found guilty on various charges relating to the scandal. No wonder the Hillary Clinton campaign wants to change the subject away from Mr. Hsu.” — John Fund, Wall Street Journal

Bob Tyrrell of The American Spectator and author of The Clinton Crack-Up will be with us Sunday night to talk about Hillary Clinton’s involvement in the Norman Hsu-Paw Family campaign donation scam.

Tyrrell’s book is loaded with Clinton fundraising scandals. For instance, Hillary’s 2000 senatorial campaign was caught using three time-convicted felon Peter Paul to raise money which he donated in violation of campaign finance laws. Here’s another one to add to the list…

During his earlier years, the 88-year old Rev. Billy Graham’s access to the presidents of the United States over five decades was and remains unsurpassed. Presidents called the evangelist for comfort as well as political advice.

They asked about death and salvation; about sin, and forgiveness. With that came an almost unbearable temptation: how far could a pastor go to help a friend — and not become part of the political game?

Michael Duffy, co-author of The Preacher and The Presidents: Billy Graham in the White House, tells us about the man who advised the most powerful men in the world.

OH! OH! OBAMA!

Tonight on “A Conversation with Andrea and …” at 9 p.m. ET…

We’ll be talking to David Mendell, author of OBAMA From Promise to Power , a revealing biography not only about Barack Obama, but also the people closest to him — including the amazingly strong Michelle Obama who is making headlines today by taking on “Her Royal Pantsuit.”

It’s interesting - and telling - that the wives of both male challengers are taking on the first female candidate for President. Hillary’s entry into the race for the White House has drawn in both John Edwards’ and Obama’s wives’ voices, changing forever the traditional rules of political engagement for presidential campaigning.

While it appears that Barack Obama exploded onto the national political landscape overnight as if by accident, political reporter David Mendell of the Chicago Tribune argues that the meteoric rise of Obama from local law school lecturer, community organizer and politician to viable candidate for the 2008 presidential election, has been a carefully orchestrated plan devised by the ambitious senator almost from the beginning.

Even the marital troubles that plague Obama and Michelle as the result of his grueling campaign schedule are included when Mendell offers eye opening observations of the man who would be the first Black President.

We’ll get the inside scoop with David Mendell tonight at 9 p.m. ET on Blog Talk Radio. The Chat Room will be open for your comments and questions. Before you cast your vote, hit the link below at 9 tonight:

OF PREACHERS AND PRESIDENTS - REV. BILLY GRAHAM - HIS LIFE - TONIGHT AT 9 ON “A CONVERSATION WITH ANDREA AND…”

Eighty-eight year old evangelist Billy Graham is in a North Carolina hospital today, in fair condition recovering from an intestinal bleed. Graham suffers from a variety of ailments, including Parkinson’s disease and age-related macular degeneration, and has been largely confined to his western North Carolina home in recent years. His wife, Ruth Bell Graham, died in June following a following a lengthy illness.

Tonight we’ll take a look at the life of the man whose ministry helped shape our nation with Nancy Gibbs, co-author of the new book “THE PREACHER AND THE PRESIDENTS: BILLY GRAHAM IN THE WHITE HOUSE”.

The Rev. Graham’s access to the presidents of the United States is unparalled. No other man or woman was in a position to see the presidents, and the presidency so intimately over five decades.

Presidents called Graham in for photo ops. They called for comfort. They asked about death and salvation; about sin, and forgiveness. And they called him for political advice, too. With that came an almost unbearable temptation: how far could a pastor go to help a friend — and not become part of the political game?

The Preacher and the Presidents is meticulously researched. Gibbs and co author Michael Duffy spent two years researching and interviewing Billy Graham, Presidents Ford, Carter, George H. W. Bush and Clinton, and many of their aides and family members.

Tune in for a fascinating look at Billy Graham tonight at 9 p.m. ET on “A Conversation with Andrea and…” on Blog Talk Radio. Chat Room link. Get there from here:

THE AMERICAN SPECTATOR’S R. EMMETT TYRRELL WITH ANDREA TONIGHT

Do you read The American Spectator? It’s a political and cultural monthly, which has been published since 1967. And it’s one of my favorite online sites because of its wickedly witty prose and fascinating observations about the people who inhabit the weird world of politics.

Among those wielding a razor sharp keyboard is its founder and editor in chief R. Emmett “Bob” Tyrrell Jr. — my guest tonight on “A Conversation with Andrea and…” at 9 ET on Blog Talk Radio.

Bob Tyrrell is a nationally syndicated columnist, whose articles have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Baltimore Sun, Washington Times, National Review, Harper’s, Commentary, The (London) Spectator, Le Figaro (Paris), The Guardian, The Sunday Telegraph, and elsewhere. He is also an adjunct fellow of the Hudson Institute and a contributing editor to the New York Sun.

Tyrrell’s written several books, including his most recent — The Clinton Crack Up. We’ll be talking with him about what the former president has been doing since leaving the White House, and get his take on the current field of presidential hopefuls, including the other Clinton — Her Royal Pantsuit.

Join us tonight at 9 for the “dish”. The Live Chat Room VIP section will be open. We’ve got a plush seat with your name on it. I’m anticipating tonight’s will be quite an interesting conversation… Listen to it by clicking here:

Emperor Cheney’s Agenda for America

darthcheney.jpg

Tomorrow President Bush will undergo a colonoscopy, but it’s the far left that will be feeling the pain. Dick Cheney will be president! I’d like to unveil the contents of a manila folder I received surreptitiously this morning under my door mat. It was a copy of a handwritten to-do list straight from Darth Cheney’s desk outlining his objectives during the two hours as reigning world warmonger.

    1. Schedule meeting between Jack Murtha and John McCain - lock them in room with golf clubs

    2. Executive Order: All government employees must memorize every line in movie “300″

    3. Bomb Iran, Syria, North Korea, China, the State Department, Joe Wilson’s house and where ever Carl Levin is

    4. Fire 8 more federal prosecutors, promote Johnny Sutton

    5. Initiate final phase of government takeover - activate cameras and wire taps, shut down internet, close libraries and arrest anyone wearing Birkenstocks or smelling like Pachouli oil

    6. Get black cape from cleaners

There’s one more, but I can’t read it. Anyone who’s got any ideas what else might be on the list can leave it in the comments. We’ll understand if you do so anonymously. It’s the least we can do for our wooky friends over at the Daily Kos!

Political Vindication!

Amnesty wins

The great sellout…..

the Senate got 64 for cloture.

“The Senate voted Tuesday to jump-start a stalled immigration measure to legalize millions of unlawful immigrants.

President Bush said the bill offered a “historic opportunity for Congress to act,” and appeared optimistic about its passage by week’s end.

The pivotal test-vote was 64-35 to revive the divisive legislation. It still faces formidable obstacles in the Senate, including bitter opposition by GOP conservatives and attempts by some waverers in both parties to revise its key elements.”

It’s important to remember that this isn’t the approval of the bill, but shuts down debate. That vote will happen later in the week. Additionally Brownback just killed his candidacy by a “Yea”.

By the way, the move at the House is “No way” unless a significant among of republicans come on board.

So it’s not over yet - close, but not over. Keep the calls coming!

FRED THOMPSON. BUSH LEAGUE?

Hooo, boy. Here we go…

An item at The Politico touts the fact that Fred Thompson’s campaign team is taking shape.

And it’s loaded with Bushbots.

Is anyone else finding this to be disconcerting? Are we all so hungry for honest LEADERSHIP, we’ll fall for what might very be a facsimile? Someone (forgive me) ACTING the part?

As I’ve pointed out in a previous post, I’m not yet sold on this non-candidate-candidate. Caution lights are flashing. And now this? Is that a warning bell I’m hearing now?

An observation by Evrviglnt posted at Political Vindication and cross-posted at Heading Right (below this post) echoes my thoughts:

Just when you thought you’d had enough of the Bushes and their wholesale dismantling of the Republican Party, here comes George P. Bush emailing everyone to donate to Fred’s campaign!
(snip)
The article from Politico offers a few names that have quietly joined the team. Mary Matalin; unpaid advisor, Lawrence B. Lindsey; Bush 43 economic advisor, Thomas J. Collamore; a former aide to the vice president H.W. Bush, Michael Turk, who helped Bush 43 in his reelection campaign and Tim Griffin, who was involved in the scandal over those fired federal prosecutors…

I understand there are some good people who have worked for these ingrates, but I’m not in a forgiving mood right now. We gave them our hopes and our support, they gave us Bill Clinton and Nancy Pelosi.

As time passes I may become more forgiving, but if Fred is going to impress me, he’ll have to outrun the Bushies first.

Yep. My sentiments exactly. What are YOU making of it???

Thompson gears up for victory - hires Bush people

Folks are really excited about Fred Thompson shuffling into the presidential race, and I can’t blame them - he’s a breath of fresh air in a stale room. Cruising through the conservative blogs offers an insight into what Republicans are hungry for - and beyond issues of trust and ideology - it’s mostly about change. This party has had enough of the Bushes, from the one term Bush 41 and all of his lackeys - right through to the son - who ’s first act was to rehire all those lackeys still living. Looking at the two administrations is like playing that matching card game with your three year old. I was going to start a new blog to register my frustration at seeing the same old faces, but MoveOn.org was already taken!

But Fred’s gotten in late and, to his own way of seeing things, is picking through the leftovers to build a campaign brain trust. Just when you thought you’d had enough of the Bushes and their wholesale dismantling of the Republican Party, here comes George P. Bush emailing everyone to donate to Fred’s campaign! Thanks George - but isn’t there anyone in this country not named Bush that could have done the same thing? Can you imagine the reaction of campaign contributors getting solicitations from a Bush right now - after the immigration brouhaha? You might as well send an illegal immigrant to knock on every door!

The involvement of a Bush family member highlights a stream of former Bush-Cheney aides and supporters who are signing on with Thompson, in some cases quietly.

The article from Politico offers a few names that have quietly joined the team. Mary Matalin; unpaid advisor, Lawrence B. Lindsey; Bush 43 economic advisor, Thomas J. Collamore; a former aide to the vice president H.W. Bush, Michael Turk, who helped Bush 43 in his reelection campaign and Tim Griffin, who was involved in the scandal over those fired federal prosecutors. There are certainly more who we won’t hear about until Fred’s got his hand on the bible on a cold January day.

I’m not the only Republican who goes Turret whenever I hear the name “Bush.” There is no coincidence that these two presidents effected an end to conservative movements in their time. They have done more to undermine our philosophy than any rapacious Democrat ever could have hoped to.

Hat Tip: The Politico

Restating the point

Ed,

I agree that “battered spouse syndrome” doesn’t accurately reflect how the administration has treated those who “brung ‘em”, but the feeling of betrayal is very real.

More along the lines of a trusted friend stealing your wife.

You can see it not only in the opinion pages of conservative media, but we’re hearing it on the phones in our GOP fun raising. People who worked hard - extremely hard - for George Bush’s election to office - twice - have had it with the “because I said so”.

This will not bode well in the future as we - the base - look closely at the current crop of GOP candidates, and make no mistake we are looking very closely. To quote The Who:

“We won’t get fooled again”.
