Andrea & Doug Gibbs tonight at 9 - c’mon along!

Why, ask many Democrats and media commentators, won’t Hillary Rodham Clinton see the long odds against her, put her own ambitions aside, and gracefully embrace Barack Obama as the inevitable Democratic nominee?

Here is why: She and Bill Clinton both devoutly believe that Obama’s likely victory is a disaster-in-waiting. Naive Democrats just don’t see it. And a timid, pro-Obama press corps, in their view, won’t tell the story.

But Hillary Clinton won’t tell it, either.

Politico has the story. And we’ll be talking about this tonight on my program at 9p ET. Join Douglas V. Gibbs, the “Political Pistachio” and me as we look at this interesting turn of events in the latest development of the Obama/Clinton campaign.

    Dear Doug,

I had lunch today with Dave Bond. I talk to Bob Anderson at least every other day. Both of them are sincere, dedicated individuals.

Thanks for accepting my calls as I appreciated it.

I shall be a constant listener in the future.

I thought your idea for them to have their own show was fantastic. They seem to have come to a dead end with What are we fighting for. It has really hurt them it did not take off after all the time and effort they put into it.
