Robert Peters, President of Morality in Media, Inc. on Political Pistachio

Morality in Media, Inc. was established in 1962 to combat pornography, but as the time has passed, standards of decency in the media are becoming harder and harder to maintain. Recently, Lindsay Lohan posed for a nude photo shoot as Marilyn Monroe, but the sexy layout was not for Playboy, or any other magazine known for photographs of nude women. The recreation of Marilyn Monroe’s legendary last nude photo shoot was for the February 25, 2008 issue of New York Magazine. Peters, regarding this, said that this effort to recreate that photo shoot “pushes the envelope further than them all.”

Tonight, Robert Peters is our guest on Political Pistachio Radio. Join us at 10pm Eastern to discuss the controversial topic of the creeping incrementalism of obscenity in America.
