Political Vindication Radio… Tonight 6pm PST

Tonight on Political Vindication Radio we talk to Vicki from Not Ready For My Burqa blog. She’s here to discuss the untold story of the rampant kidnappings of contractors in Iraq. Contractors are employed by the American government to do many of the things that the military won’t do - including armed guards, military trainers, translators, interrogators, cooks, drivers and maintenance workers. They work in an environment that is like walking a tightrope above a jungle, and without the back up that our soldiers get should things get ugly - if your kidnapped as a contractor, the United States government doesn’t care and the company you work for is on its own when bargaining for your release. Families wait for months to hear about loved ones, and often have nowhere to turn in the hope of ever getting their sons back alive if the company that employed their loved ones gives up on them.

We’ll also talk about the strategy used by governments to release hostages, and if private companies ought to follow those same strategies. If you were the leader of a country that was forced to bargain for the lives of your citizens - what would you do?

Chat room will be open 15 minutes before show time, so be sure to join in on the conversation. If you want to join us on the air live, give us a call at (646) 652-4598
