COMPARING CANDIDATES WITH JOHN BIRCH SOCIETY TONIGHT AT 9 ET WITH ANDREA

Tonight — John Birch Society president John McManus joins me on my internet webcast.

We’ll talk about the polls indicating Democrats and Republicans have not yet made up their mind on which candidate to support. In fact, those still undecided could sway the election if poll results remain consistent until next November. Real Clear Politics is reporting that Giuliani is still holding a lead over his competitors going into the Iowa caucus. And Her Royal Pantsuit is holding onto a 40% lead in combined polls.

One interesting fact is that “the 2008 presidential election has more announced candidates than at any other time in history,” according to the New American magazine. Those voting in the primaries have eight candidates in each of the two major parties to choose from.

And since primaries begin in early January 2008, voters don’t have much time to research candidate platforms.

The New American magazine has published one-page profiles on each of the 16 candidates in its December 10 issue. Its cover story and all 16 profiles are posted on its web site.
