William Russell Reschedule & A Political Pistachio Debate

For those of you that tuned in for William Russell last Thursday, he regrets that he was unable to call in to the show, and has been re-scheduled for November 28. For those of you not familiar with him, he is the Republican that will be running against John Murtha next year, and he is an Iraq War Veteran. www.williamrussellforcongress.com

Saturday, November 17 is another dandy of a show. Longtime troll of Political Pistachio, and liberal blogger that loves to blog garbage about me, is going to join me for a debate. Rules of the debate? No screaming and shouting, and it’s just mano-y-mano with a U.S. Constitution expert (Loki) on the line to keep it clean.

Tune in for the fireworks live at 7pm EST at www.blogtalkradio.com/politicalpistachio.

Another Peg?

It’s long been established that Hugh Hewitt is in the bag for Mitt Romney (the book on his campaign was a faint clue), and AmSpecBlog is favorable to the candidacy of Rudy Giuliani - of which my taking whimsical note earned me some honest-to-goodness anonymous notoriety as “a guy at Heading Right” and “a Fred Thompson enthusiast,” respectively.

Could this blogospheric smooch not unfairly earn the Powerline gents the sobriquet ”McCain’s Navy“?  I’m just askin’.

Oh, and BTW, Brothers Three: the handle’s “JASmius“.  And yes, the first three letters are my initials….

Best-Of Saturday

As my week’s absence from these hallowed pixels attest, I was completely unable to blog this week.  I didn’t even have the time to read and keep up with current events over the past six days.  As a consequence, I’ve got zip, zero, nada material for a show today.

Fortuitously, I was unwittingly prescient enough to do an “extra” show last Sunday, which was so good that I think it merits an encore performance.

So tune in and enjoy, while I try to scramble to catch up and perhaps put forth a new offering tomorrow.
