Don’t Bet On It
Can Rudy Giuliani put multiple northeastern “blue” states into play?
I can conceivably see it happening in Pennsylvania, which has been “purple” the last couple of presidential cycles, though it would take some considerable pro-Republican momentum that is currently nowhere in evidence. But Connecticut? Not a chance.
In Pennsylvania either, if you really want to know the truth. I’ve always thought this business of Rudy putting “blue” states into play anywhere was a big, steaming pile of wishful-thinking run amok. Far more important it is, I think, to ensure the retention of the “red” states we have already (e.g. Could Giuliani really do a better job of keeping Ohio from getting away, or flip Wisconsin and Minnesota to replace it?).
But if the mayor maintains his front-runner status past the first week of February, conservatives will have to rummage around for scraps of hope somewhere….

Any Republican will be running against Hsu-funded Hillary. This election is going to be an anti-Hillary landslide. With Bloomberg, maybe McKinney, and maybe Nader, Hillary will come in third place. Get used to “President Thompson”!
