Friday Hard Starboard Recap

Jenber took time out from emptying her nest to kick the Enemy Media again.  Hope she had on a pair of steel-toed clodhopper boots.

After doing a wee public service, I celebrated - tentatively - the President’s decision to fight for a successor to Alberto Gonzales who - get this - actually agrees with Bush’s war-fighting and counter-terrorism policies, which runs counter to the explicit instructions given to the White House by Chucky Schumer earlier in the week to “closely consult” with them on his A-G choice.  Will this imperial presidency ever end?

Oh, yes, it looks like former Solicitor-General Ted Olson is to be the pick.

Clinton old-home week continued, which was almost as groan-inducing as all the Hsu puns flying all over the blogosphere.

And the self-defenestration of Idaho Republican Senator Larry Craig moved to its startlingly swift endgame.  I usually can’t get my toes to curl this much absent massive foot cramps.  If the Gem State didn’t have a GOP governor, I might have ended up in a wheelchair.
