“Sen. Larry Craig, the Idaho Republican who pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, has stepped down from his role as a co-Senate liaison for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s White House bid, the campaign said Monday.”

“Jay Garrity, who had been on leave from his position as the Romney campaign’s director of operations since earlier impersonation allegations surfaced, stepped down Friday following a report in The Boston Herald in which unidentified people accused him of distributing badges to members of the advance team to gain early access to event venues, control crowds and reporters and avoid paying a highway toll.”

“Mitt Romney’s campaign has announced the resignation of its national finance committee co-chairman, Alan B. Fabian, who was indicted by a Maryland grand jury on 23 counts, including mail fraud, money laundering, bankruptcy fraud, perjury and obstruction of justice, according to the Baltimore U.S. attorney’s office.”
