WEEKEND ROUND UP WITH ANDREA SHEA KING

Our friend and fellow patriot Terry Funderburk will be on Lou Dobbs’ program this evening on CNN at 6 p.m. ET to talk about his protest against illegals doing the jobs “that Americans WON’T do”. The ASK Show on WDBO was the first program to have Terry on the air when he was our guest last Sunday night.

No, it wasn’t as outrageous as astro-diapers and pre-flight shuttle cocktails but…

If you want some pretty interesting insider tales about some of NASA’s Apollo astronauts, tune in to last night’s program with Andrew Chaikin, author of “A MAN ON THE MOON”. Andrew never ran out of fascinating insights and tidbits about the men who rode the rockets.

Coming up on Sunday night’s program at WDBO AM 580 Orlando, FL …

We’ll be taking a look at the heinous murder of a Connecticut family by two paroled men with lengthy rap sheets.

How the justice system is failing us, and what we need to do about it with Bob Weir, whose piece this week in American Thinker got a lot of attention. Including ours.

What was the greatest unknown scandal of Bill Clinton’s Presidency? Tom Woods Jr. will tell us along with loads of other stuff you won’t learn from politically correct history books and professors.

Prepare for Gen. David Petraeus’ upcoming Report to the Nation. Military historian Richard Lowry has valuable insight and info on the current situation in Baghdad and surrounding provinces. He communicates daily with senior commanders in Iraq. Author of Marines in the Garden of Eden, he’s recently published in The Weekly Standard, the California Republic and Op-For. He’s currently working on a book about The Surge and he’ll be with us Sunday night.

IN OTHER WORDS…

Keeping up with our friend Dr. Jack Wheeler — the inspiration for the Indiana Jones hero of Spielberg fame…

He’s back from his travels to exotic parts of the world and has penned a scathing piece about presidential hopeful Barack Obama. It’s posted at Jack’s site: To The Point News. Jack’s pieces are always incisive and insightful, and well worth the read.

Jack Cashill is less than impressed these days with Sean Hannity and his TV producer.
They wanted to interview Jack — an investigative journalist himself, and author of FIRST STRIKE which uncovered substantial information, including a critical terrorist connection, about the fate of TWA Flight 800 — for a report about the mysterious explosion in 1996 of TWA 800 off the NY coast of Long Island.

“Silly me. I had allowed myself to get my hopes up. FOX NEWS actually seemed serious about doing the TWA Flight 800 story justice for a segment of Hannity’s America, “ Jack writes.

Read the entire piece “Fox Blows TWA Flight 800 Opportunity”.

bRight @ Night

I’ve settled on a new name for my BlogTalkRadio show — bRight @ Night. I’ll be on the air in just about an hour talking about the ever-expanding primary schedule, Mama Moonbat’s House run, and the awful economy.

Thursday Hard Starboard Recap

The Ruffini Agenda isn’t a bad first draft of a conservative platform upgrade, though it has some holes here and there.  But it’ll never make anybody forget the Contact With America.

This is, indeed, an inconvenient truth for the global warming crowd.  Only question is how deep will they bury Cuffy Meiggs.

And the New Republic takes the Dan Rather defense to the bitter, whimpering end.

Wednesday Hard Starboard Recap

Think the Dems are going to yank our forces out of Iraq (and Afghanistan) and “bring them home”?  Think again.  They don’t use the term “redeploy” for nothing.

Will the nutroot outrage at the Democrats caving on FISA reform and waiting to pull the plug on the war at least another six weeks or so cause a civil war on the Left that will destroy their chances of running the table in 2008?  I doubt it.

Who says bad economic history can’t repeat itself?

And, “It’s not about connecting the dots, but when they are connected, and by whom.

Tonight at 7PM Eastern, Richard Fernandez of Belmont Club

Instead of my usual podcast next Monday, my guest this evening at 7PM will be Belmont Club’s Richard Fernandez.

We will discuss terrorism in Asia and the Pacific.

Richard’s an extraordinarily insightful blogger, and his blog consistently has some of the best commenters. It’ll be a great podcast, and Siggy’s co-hosting, too.

Please join us at 7PM tonight!
