Is The Surge Working?

Two writers from the Not-Exactly-Conservative Brookings Institute suggest that it just might be. Michael E. O’Hanolon and Kenneth M. Pollack conclude their NYT opinion piece with this:

But there is enough good happening on the battlefields of Iraq today that Congress should plan on sustaining the effort at least into 2008.
