Tonight’s Conversation with Andrea at 9 ET…

Thanks to the efforts of D. A. King, Georgia businesses contracting with state, county or municipal governments will be required to verify that all newly hired employees are eligible to work in the United States. D.A. King, a former Marine, is a 24-year resident of Marietta, Georgia. He lobbied in support of the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act. The act was passed by the Georgia General Assembly last year and went into effect on July 1. Consequently, illegal immigrants are now leaving Georgia for more lenient states. D.A. works at his own expense.

Rev. Rick Scarborough, President of Vision America, calls upon values voters across America to call their Senators and demand they oppose S. 1105, the Matthew Shepard Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act, covertly inserted into a Defense Reauthorization bill. The bill sponsored by Senators Edward Kennedy (D-MA) and Gordon Smith (R-OR) is an amendment to a Defense Reauthorization bill and will bypass the Senate committee process, thereby denying significant debate on the legislation.
