Wednesday Hard Starboard Recap
Heavy on the latest insufferable Senate Iraq “debate”. Honorable mentions to John McCain, John Cornyn and, to a lesser degree, the quintet of Lieberman, McCain, Kyl, Graham, and Coleman. Dishonorable mention goes to Olympia Snowe, who broke and ran to the defeatist tall grass.
Also, the federal budget deficit continues to plummet, and without a tax increase. Will “miracles” never cease….?
UPDATE: Lindsey Graham is an ass, but you have to love this sound bite:
I don’t want the Congress to be the cavalry for al-Qaida.
Or this one from Ace of Spades:
We don’t need [bleep-bleep]ed Republicans selling our nation out to Al Qaeda to pander for votes; we have thousands of Democratic politicians eager to do us that dubious service.
I’m still waiting for evidence of how last November’s defeat at the polls has “taught the Republicans a lesson”. If the waverers don’t pass this “class,” their “enrollment” will be terminated altogether.
