Tuesday Hard Starboard Recap

My Saturday prophecy proved to be teeth-clenchingly accurate.  With cloture on whether to revive Bush-McCain-Kennedy-Kyle-Etc. achieved, it’s onto the amendments, which will change little or nothing fundamental about the amnesty bill but will fill skittish GOP senators with that nice, warm, fuzzy “process” feeling (kind of like the warmth hypothermia victims feel before they drift off for the final time).  Cloture will be a formality on that, the bill will pass, and the electoral fate of Senate Republicans will be sealed.

On to the House!

I picked through the Trent Lott/Dianne Feinstein appearance on Fox News Sunday and found a freudian DiFi slip it would behoove the GOP to make use of, if the party still defended free speech.

But, heck, what does all that matter?  Our careening toward catastrophic, self-inflicted defeat in the war against the Global Caliphate is accelerating.  Proving once again, I suppose, that the cyclical nature of history really is inevitable.
