Bring Back Moderates?
Why pander to people who don’t stand for anything? That’s not party building, it’s party dilution. Govern conservatively, campaign conservatively, and the political winds will change back, and bring the bandwagon-jumpers with them.
Follow the Governator’s example? He ceased being a Republican in any practical sense a year and a half ago. No wonder Wolfy admires him so much.
Now Huckabee’s standing up to talk, too.
Rudy: “Nominate me”. Cute, but I don’t think so. Pity he couldn’t chose Ah-nuld as his running mate.
McCain’s heroes qualify him to lead? Uh, whatever, Senator. Does that mean he’d create an ambassador to the hereafter? Those would be some interesting comfirmation hearings.

hey JAS - why don’t you tell us what you really think?
I loved that question you brought up, about “what can the Republican party do to attract more moderates?” Um…is giving amnesty to 20 million illegals and socializing medicine OK for a start? Damn, what kind of question is that? That’s like asking the boy scouts “what can you do to attract more gay scout leaders?”
Evolution? How about Wolf asking increduously “six days, governor?” Somehow Wolf’s evolution stopped just before decency gene arrived. What a slimeball, setting up a dichotomy like that - Democrats are for science and progress, Republicans are for superstition and regression. Makes you wonder what they really think of Christians?
